3:00pm - 5:30pm

We know how generous the Michigan’s tourism industry is and hope to share your goodness with those in the Grand Traverse region at the PMGC19.  The area has needs where the tourism industry can help.  Michigan Cares for Tourism is coordinating several ways for us to show we care.

Donate supplies (such as hotel shampoos, soaps, cleaning supplies, or towels) to help support the Munson Manor Hospitality House, a non-profit 30 unit hotel/hospitality house built in 1902 at Munson Hospital providing at cost services to families needing support when loved ones are ill.  We will collect these items when you pick up your registration packet at the conference.  See list (http://bit.ly/MC4T_donate_list) of needed supplies!

Volunteer at a variety of projects around the region from painting to building at local non-profit attractions.  We have several projects we will be working on from 3-5:30pm on Tuesday, March 5.  This event is in between several industry meetings and the welcome reception.  What a great way to start off your conference right!  Transportation provided.  Volunteers will be asked which project they would like to work on closer to the event.  Register now so we know how much work we can get done!

Donate to our MC4T efforts and register for our big give this September.  Your voluntary, deductible donation helps to make an impact at historic, cultural, and natural attractions in need.  Our 100% volunteer, 100% give back initiatives have engaged 2,235 industry volunteers since 2012 bringing in excess of $600,000 of value to these locations.  Thanks to the industry’s generosity, we buy the supplies, plan the events, and bring the volunteers to get the work done.  Register for the 2019 MC4T event this September 15-17 (still being finalized) in Leelanau Peninsula’s Grand Traverse Lighthouse and the Leelanau State Park by texting “MC4T” to 76959.
